Wellbeing and Support
At Blackfell Primary School, we believe that every child deserves to feel happy, safe, valued and supported. Children's emotional wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, as we know that children learn best when they feel secure, confident and ready to engage in school life.
We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where positive relationships flourish and every child feels that they belong. Through our curriculum, pastoral support, assemblies, enrichment opportunities and daily interactions, we help children develop resilience, self-confidence, independence and the skills needed to manage life's challenges.
We work closely with families and, where appropriate, external agencies to ensure children receive the right support at the right time. Whether a child needs help with friendships, worries, emotional regulation, attendance, self-esteem or mental health, we are here to listen and help.
On this page, you will find information, advice and resources to support your child's wellbeing, along with practical tips to promote positive mental health at home and school.
