In science, we have been looking at different ways to separate materials. A mixture of flour and raisins was separated using a sieve. The flour passed through the holes in the sieve and the raisins were left behind. To separate a mixture of rice and metal pins, we used magnets. The pins stuck to the magnet and the rice was left in the tray.
