Year 6 welcomed a visit from the police today to learn more about staying safe on social media.
The session began with a look at some of the most commonly used apps and a discussion around their age restrictions. The children also explored how to manage privacy settings, learning the difference between what is shared publicly and what can be kept private. The importance of thinking carefully before posting was reinforced, as we considered how online content can quickly spread beyond its intended audience.
